THE TEAM

Glow Performing Arts for Musical Theatre and Youth Theatre classes

Becky

Founder, Principal and Teacher

Becky has been teaching performing arts since 2015, and has trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, one of the UK's top drama schools. She is a performer in her own right, with one of her songs, 'Hold the Light', being picked up by Central's Keep Creating Gala, and featured creatives such as Catherine Tate and Sir Tony Robinson. She is also a playwright, most recently staging her play 'Paper Butterflies' at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked with inclusive theatre companies including Access All Areas, Hopshed and Razed Roof, and specialises in working with students with SEN.

She set up Glow Performing Arts in 2022 to be able to fully teach with her own values. She wanted her classes to incorporate the top quality training but with a strong emphasis on fun and inclusion. She adores teaching and the kids just love her!

She co-founded and ran an award-winning Musical Theatre Society at her undergrad University and loves to share her passion for Drama and Singing with her students.

Charlotte believes that there is no such thing as a “silly question” and strives to ensure that the rehearsal room is always a nurturing and supportive place for students to explore the performing arts.

Evie

Assistant

I’m Evie and I assist the Glow Worms & SEN classes here at glow. I have been assisting with Glow since January 2023 and absolutely love it because of the supportive staff and brilliant students!

I have been doing performing arts for over 12 years, I have found it’s really helped to build my confidence over the years! I also love old music and going to many concerts, I have seen over 9 80s rock bands in the past couple years! I am currently in my teacher training working full time in a Primary School which I really enjoy.
